Education is one piece of sexuality that is often overlooked. In America, where I live, we don’t have a robust (or even consistent) sexual education program through schools, so it’s up to parents to educate kiddos on what sex is, how it works, and common pitfalls. Unfortunately, many adults often received sub-par education, and pass that misinformation on to their kids, or just avoid the subject altogether, leaving kids to fend for themselves. This leads to shame, knowledge gaps, and getting information from less-than-reliable sources.
As this section of the website expands, I’ll be able to talk about more topics than the ones listed currently.
