Review: We-Vibe Tango

I knew I would like the Tango. I didn’t know how much I would adore the thing, but I knew I would enjoy it. Sometimes I’m apprehensive in purchasing new toys, because maybe they won’t work, maybe I’ll hate them, and then I feel like I’ve wasted money. I didn’t have those fears with the Tango.

Ifullsizerender-4 knew it was rumbly, I knew it was small, and I knew it had a great reputation. I was unprepared for how compact it is, and how surprisingly good the motor feels for such a small vibe. It feels gauche to wax poetic about this thing since I know I’m hardly the first person with a clit and a blog to rain praises on the petite little vibe. But I’m going to anyway.

The vibrations are the most noteworthy thing. I’m a hardcore Magic Wand lover, and I’ve already loved one to death– I’m on my second one. And the Tango does not make me miss my MW one little bit, despite its size. It’s rumbly and powerful and doesn’t feel at all like the buzzy plastic toys I may or may not have used as a teenager.

It’s also wonderfully small. Not in a way that makes me feel like I’m going to lose my grip at any moment, but it’s about the size of a lipstick tube, so it’s the perfect size for putting in my purse just in case a date goes the right way. The only other toys I’ve had that are a similar size were buzzy and cheap, but I bought them when I was sixteen. What did I know about my clit’s preference for rumbly vibes. Regardless, the Tango measures a slight 3.5 inches long, and just over half an inch wide. It comes in blue and pink, although if you go for the We-Vibe Pleasure Mates collection, you can snag one in white.

A perk I wasn’t prepared to appreciate as much as I do is the fact that it’s waterproof. I’m not really one for underwater playtime, but it sure does make my morning showers much more enjoyable. It charges magnetically, so there’s no worry about getting water in the charging port. Though you do need to make sure the connections are secure and the charging light is on, otherwise you might be disappointed when you go to use it next. It’s got a 90 minute recharge time for two hours of use.fullsizerender-5

The only disadvantage I can think of is the fact that there’s one single button. It’s a bummer to cycle through the vibration intensities and patterns to get to the one you want, but to be honest there’s not really another place on the tiny toy to actually put an additional button or two.

Overall, one of my absolute favorite vibrators, to the point where I’m considering getting a second one. Just in case.
