I’ve reviewed products from Fucking Sculptures before, and although I’m enthusiastic about supporting a company I believe in, the G-Spoon left my g-spot wanting. But when I heard about the Double Trouble, I was immediately intrigued.
The first time I heard about this behemoth, it was from Kate. (I feel like I reference her a lot in my writing. She’s been a big inspiration, so thanks, Kate!) I knew she loved hers. So much so that she wrote a pseudo-love letter to the glass sculpture. So when I saw that it was massively discounted for some promotion– I can’t remember if it was Black Friday or what– I decided to jump at the chance to add this toy to my collection.
First, some specifics. This toy was designed by a guest designer, Courtney Trouble. It’s an s-shaped black glass double-ended dildo. (Kate’s is blue. It’s a special edition. I’m jealous.) Since it’s a handmade toy, there’s some variation in measurements, but it can weigh anywhere from 750 to 850 grams, and if you don’t know what that feels like, it’s bulky but not as heavy as my Pure Wand, though yours may be a touch lighter or heavier. The Pure Wand is technically 650g and the DT’s range starts at 750g, but like… that steel sure feels heavier. It’s roughly the length of my forearm, which is… excessive. But it’s double ended, so I can’t complain. It’s $180 off the Fucking Sculptures site, which is pricey, but at least it’s not an Eleven, am I right?
As far as sensations, I wish I were a size queen. I feel like I would enjoy this toy a lot more if I were. As it stands now, it takes me some serious warm up time and concentration on relaxing in order to get this toy inside me. Since it’s glass, there’s no give. It’s just 0.02 inches larger in diameter larger than my Tantus Uncut #1 on the small size, but man, does it not even compare. The Uncut has some squish! My vagina likes some squish! The larger end is 2.16 inches, and I haven’t attempted that one yet. I just… I need a training program for that end. I’m not ready.
I do truly love this toy, but I can’t say it really hits all the right internal spots for me. There’s a lot of accomplishment feelings when I tackle this toy, but I can’t say it’s something I use regularly or even something that makes me feel like I’ve been fucked into oblivion. It’s just… big. And not in a way I was particularly prepared for. I suppose that’s what you get for not reading measurements before purchasing. I guess my eyes are bigger than my pussy?
Size aside, I know this is a good shape. I have another glass toy that’s similarly shaped, but much more slender. The Standard Glass S Curve really reminds me of the Double Trouble, and that one really does hit some good spots for me, probably because it’s a lot easier to maneuver. I’m fairly sure either Kate or Bex have referred to it as the Double Trouble Lite, on occasion. So if you like the shape but aren’t particularly into size, go with the S Curve. If you do like some girth with your glass, spring for the Double Trouble, and let me know what you think of it. I’m especially curious about which is the preferred end!
