Writing monthly favorites posts kinda fucks with my head because didn’t I just write one of these? Whatever. Let’s get to it!
NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Milan
I don’t often try lip colors. I want to, but I’m a fiddler, I fiddle with my hair, my jewelry, my hands, and even, weirdly, my lips. I’m constantly tapping my lips at work when I’m thinking at my desk which isn’t conducive to wearing lip color.
That said, I’ve wanted to start branching out. In my drugstore rummaging, I found the NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream, and I really like it. The staying power is debatable, but it doesn’t feel drying, and the Milan color packs a pigmented punch without being overbearing.
I don’t wear it often since I’m still wearing my Invisalign trays and being afraid of getting color under the trays is obnoxious. But it’s fun once in awhile, and I’m glad to have found a cheap lip color that doesn’t dry out on me!
Sliquid Silver
I’ve never not been a fan of Sliquid, but I don’t really use silicone lube that often. My go-to Sliquid line is Sea, but my beau recently got me a sampler pack, and I reached for the Silver in a recent sexcapade. I honestly forget how much I like silicone lube. It’s a great choice when I know I won’t be reaching for any silicone toys, especially if I’ve opted to stick with a handjob. It’s just so great.
PiperWai Deodorant
The natural deodorants I’ve tried have sucked. Truly. They either don’t work at all, or they itch (I have really sensitive skin), or they leave a weird residue on my skin. Not a fan.
PiperWai is different! It keeps my stank at bay, it doesn’t feel sticky or flakey, and it actually smells really good! I got a sample from a friend at my day job, so I’ll be purchasing my own soon, but it comes in a little tub or a stick. Vegan, cruelty-free, and made in the US! Score.
