I reviewed the Noje W3 Mini Wand a few months ago, and liked it very much. When I had the opportunity to check out its sibling, the W2, I was interested to see the changes that had been made. Overall, the differences are minimal. The shape of the Noje W2 Mini Wand‘s body is different, but the vibrations are very much the same, and so are my complaints. Let’s start with the needed improvements.
The charging port is finicky as hell. I complained about this with the W3, so I wasn’t surprised to see it on the W2 as well. (I also complain about it with the We-Vibe Tango and L’amourose Prism V, so it seems to be a theme.) I want it to be better. I want it to stop sucking.
The buttons are also less than stellar. You have to hold the power button for a LONG time to get this little vibe to turn on or off. Not great if you need it to turn off at the sound of a key turning in the lock.
But for the good things, the Noje W2 wand is light, easy to maneuver, waterproof, and provides some decent variety in patterns if you’re into that. It has a removable silicone head to make washing up very easy. It’s very easy to use with a partner, and I have great success on the regular using it that way during PIV and with a variety of toys.
The shape of the body of the toy is the most notable difference. The W3 has a curved handle which makes it really easy to hold. The W2 is flat and wide, kinda like a shitty pancake that won’t cook well. I don’t personally have a preference between the two, but if you have mobility or strength issues in your hands that mean you need leverage to exert pressure on this toy, the W3 might be a better choice with the curved handle.
Ultimately, this vibrator is your local pizza joint. Dependable, consistent, and decently satisfying. It’s not stellar, it’s not a date night treat or a special occasion celebration spot, but it’s always open when you’re feeling peckish.
You can get the Noje W2 Mini Wand in sage, wisteria, or rose colors from some of my favorite retailers, SheVibe and Peepshow Toys, for a cool $36.
