Review: Fucking Sculptures G-Spoon

I want to love the G-Spoon. I really do. I love the Fucking Sculptures company, I love glass toys, I love the color and sparkle my G-Spoon has. It’s handmade, and the company has some truly exceptional customer service.

But it just leaves my g-spot wanting. It’s not quite long or wide enough to make me feel deliciously full, and it’s not quite curved enough to really pound my g-spot like I like. Maybe that would change if I had sized up– I have a problem of consistently underestimating my vagina and ordered a small– but I still tend to use it more as a warm up toy than one to bring it home.fullsizerender-5

It’s not that I don’t like it. Far from it. The weight of the toy feels substantial without being overwhelming. I adore the way the glass holds temperature, and mine is green which really sparkles in the sun. When I first bought it, I kept it out on my mantle because it’s just so pretty.

But I tend to like g-spot toys that are severe enough to actually hook around my (apparently) low pubic bone. Think Pure Wand or the Jopen Key Comet Wand, in particular. These are toys that I literally can’t remove unless I unhook them. It sounds unsexy, but I promise it feels amazing. And if a toy doesn’t do that, I want a lot of texture. The G-Spoon does have grooves, but my vagina isn’t discerning enough to really tell, so all the grooves do is collect lube and vag juice and require a closer eye during washing.

The G-Spoon comes in three different sizes, though because it’s handmade, every one is a little bit different. I was initially excited about it because of the photo that’s featured on their product page, but mine isn’t as dramatically curved as the one in the photo, although that’s just the nature of handmade toys. As far as the color selections, I’ve seen the white one, which is lovely. The gold color also looks neat, but honestly I couldn’t be more pleased that I chose the green one.fullsizerender-4

Although Epiphora and I have similar feelings for different reasons, Kate absolutely raves about her G-Spoon. She loves it as more of an a-spot toy, which I haven’t yet mastered, so that could be part of our differences. Perhaps unsurprisingly, Kate has the medium, which is the size Epiphora and I seem to agree would have increased our enjoyment. It might be a second string toy for me, but if you like handmade glass toys, check out Fucking Sculptures. They’re a really awesome company and deserve the support!
